20. Miami Hurricanes

Players to watch: RB Duke Johnson, LB Denzel Perryman, TE Clive Walford, DE Anthony Chickillo, CB Ladarius Gunther

The outlook: The "U" remains a must-visit for NFL scouts despite the program's struggles over the past few seasons. The Hurricanes have cleaned up in recruiting since coach Al Golden's arrival, which is why the team routinely features some of the best skill-position players in the country. Johnson is the headliner of the program as arguably the top runner in college football. Perryman is a terrific sideline-to-sideline defender with outstanding instincts and intangibles. He has a chance to be a first-round selection in the 2015 draft.

Newcomer in the spotlight: OT Kc McDermott. When the Hurricanes have been at their best, they have been anchored by a strong offensive line with blue-chip talent on the edges. McDermott is a standout left tackle prospect who could push for playing time early in his career as a blind-side protector.

I wish they would do this, and measure success in the league.... tons of heralded guys that go to places like Bama etc.. turn out not to be NFL studs.. i feel like a bunch of USC guys would be on the "studs in college, not studs in the NFL" list too.

We must finish in the top twenty and be in a relevant bowl to get our just due on these type lists.

I agree but from a different perspective. We are #20 in terms of NFL ready talent, we need to live up to that talent and finish in the top 20, plain and simple. We have talent now, no more excuses anymore, we must play up to our talent level. If this list is released again next year we will move up into the top 15.
