Very good to see.
We were disrupting WR/TEs all night.

I also loved the 3-4 look on running downs. We contained the edge really well.

Sure it's FAU but BCU ran the same **** last year to the time of 400 yards.

Tracy Howard was in his mans face all game.... he gon be special.

All of our corners played a **** of a game even Artie Burns....

cant wait for Deon to get back in the line-up so we can see what this secondary is really suppose to look like.

Shout out to KC Rodgers, I told yall he got next this year.

Did Tracy give up a reception tonight?
I didn't see one.
What impressed me from the defense, was, for the most part, they did their jobs the way they have been coached.
They looked aggressive yet still disciplined.

Tracy had his receiver lost on an island all game..... if the QB even tried to throw it to his man i missed it b/c i dont remember it happening.

And yes the entire unit was very aggressive but disciplined... aside from the bonehead penalties there isnt anything bad to say about the defense. Just keep improving and go from there.

Our LBs still struggle in coverage. I think it will be a problem next week.

Our DT have to play nasty and our OL if we to beat ufak. SM looked like Jeff Driskel he better show up on the short throws, dude keep beaming the ball.

So much more man on the outside. CBs actually allowed to get up on guys. Bringing more pressure, and from different positions, too. Rarely lining everyone 7 yards off the ball.

I was smiling like a f@ggot in a ***** factory tonight. Thank the lord praise baby jesus pass the ammunition and God save the queen if Dorito shelved that ***** **** he pulled last year.

LBs missed some coverages...perryman wants to make every play and hit you hard every play..Ray lewis needs to talk with him on learning how to manage the game....I never heard gaines name until the 4th qtr...figs is last years EJ..he just gets it..

lmfao if people think its "a new scheme"......it's the same system but they can actually start running it properly now.

Note how reminiscent of last year the defense was when all the starters came out? how many times does it need to be explained that this is a system that requires a few years of exposure to before a kid can play it properly?

I think most linebackers on any level arent the best in pass coverage, especially if its man on man instead of zone.

I dont think Driskell is just going to be able to exploit them in the passing game until i actually see him do it

+1000. And its not scheme or coaching. Its athleticism.

Cornelius made a few good breakups in the 1st half.

It's better than them covering grass in the zone concepts.

Also on DPs dropped INT the RB had a little bit of a step on the LB - but DP looked to be playing a spy/soft zone coverage in the middle which was perfect.
