I believe the hype around Tom Herman died at UT after his 2nd season. He was crowned, too, quickly, & I’ll admit I was a fan of his coaching “prowess” at UH. Whatever je ne sais quois he had, has been gone for some time. He even sucked as an Offensive Analyst in the NFL.

As an OC, he’d probably be ok. Definitely not HC. Don’t think he’d work as OC in Miami though
