I think he said ed is the best safety…Bill coached LT and Brady lolIIRC Belichek said E Reed was the best player he’s ever seen regardless of position.
Pretty sure it was Brady included, if not best regardless of position then he said the best defensive player.I think he said ed is the best safety…Bill coached LT and Brady lol
The best safety in the history of the NFL. He terrorized the AFC QBs.
Lott was great, definitely can't overlook..ER was still a different guy, and I think better overall.Maybe. Certainly the best post 2000.
I just can't overlook Ronnie Lott, though.
Granted, they had completely different games.
You watched with your eyes closed?!It’s crazy because growing up watching ED Reed, Andre Johnson, etc. I knew those guys were good but at the time while they were playing with Miami I didn’t realize I was watching future NFL HOFmers at my favorite college
I can overlook Lott....he wasn't even a Safety his 1st 6-7yrs....he was a CB.....Ed's the best Safety to ever lace em up....Maybe. Certainly the best post 2000.

I was a huge Lott fan but he’s not in the discussion.I can overlook Lott....he wasn't even a Safety his 1st 6-7yrs....he was a CB.....Ed's the best Safety to ever lace em up....
Love how Ed Reed terrorized QB's. Every single one. Firmly believe Sean Taylor & Ed Reed would've been #1 & #2 Safeties post 2000
I think Bawlmore is getting a 30 for 30 but the Steelers-Ravens rivalry involving all those guys and that level of insane violence in modern football really should get one too.The Steelers fan in me would like to add Troy Polamalu into the mix as well
