Looks like we had a really good coach already on our staff as the QB coach. UL-Monroe is playing some good football this season

And Gene Chizik was a great coach when he had Cam Newton, and Larry Coker was a great coach when he had 21 first rounders on his team, etc.

Todd Berry wasn't that great a QB coach when he had KW and Kirnobyl.

Easy to be the next great thing when basing it on a non-randomized snapshot in time.

Friend of mine played for him at Army said he was a dcik and a horrible coach. He has had success this year though.

He got run out on a rail from Army. I've heard the sportswriter Jon Feinstein on the radio (he use to do Navy games on the radio) just go off on him for his tenure there. Basically trying to move the academy away from their traditional option offense to his spread passing attack. It was a complete debacle. Even by Army's standards over the past few decades.

That 2006 season was a debacle. OC Rich Olson and Todd Berry weren't even talking to each by the end of the year since they hated each other so much. Coker was not a good manager of his coaching staffs.

This is pretty much correct. Coker brought in Berry to run the offense but the higher ups essentially hired Stevens . Berry had very little if any input on what happened that year. He wanted to run the spread

That's like saying ken lay was not a good manager of energy traders.
