Manny Diaz could sense we were going to have a bad season so he brought in numerous transfers and locked up an entire class worth of commits before August
Diaz is one of the best speakers we've had as a coach in a long time. What makes you think he's not a good recruiter? I mean we had the best portal transfers and locked up 25 Commits before August after a 7-6 Season. He missed on every top target he went after & the best DB in the class decommitted twice. I don't think he's dumb enough to plan that.
What happened is simple, he had no choice but to go after a bunch of transfers because the 2019 class was completely broken due to the roster turnover from players graduating & hitting the draft, we were going to have a bunch of open spots & needed multiple scholarship players because since Richt has been here in 2016 we've never had a full 85.
He got all the commits we got early because it's been our recruiting strategy since the Richt/Diaz era to get as many early commits as possible & then hold on for dear life because it's easier to sell recruits in the Spring/Summer before we play any games, but then once recruits see how we actually play on the field they always decommit.
Diaz has never been a good recruiter, his only redeemable quality was that he could field a good enough Defense to keep us competitive, but he's failed miserably at that & now he has nothing left to lean on. His evals are bad, his coaching is bad, his recruiting is bad, his roster management is bad, his game week preparation is bad, his game day adjustments are bad & his ability to get the team to buy in is bad...
He's simply wasn't ready to be a HC for this program, Blake James fcked us over by making a reactionary knee jerk hire & not conducting a coaching search because his lazy *** didn't wanna do any work. Diaz should've been made to go to Temple to prove himself there first before he was given the keys to the program & now he's crashed the car & trying to repair it on the side of the highway with no insurance.
His "master plan" was to lock down South Fla & get the locals to buy in, but it was all predicated on us winning on the field, he fcked that up so now he has to scramble & load up on low rated kids that will commit because they simply have no other opportunities to play anywhere else & will be kids that do exactly what the coaches command but overall lack the talent necessary to comepete at a High level & due to the fact he also failed in his assistant hirings none of these kid will be developed to their full potential, which will result in poor performances on the field, which equals more L's, which results in less talent accumulation in recruiting because kids don't wanna play for losers, which will ultimately result in his abrupt firing.

Where 3-4 and have only lost one important decommitt. So far so goodDiaz has never been a great recruiter. Name the elite guys he's responsible for getting. Getting commits before August doesn't mean ****. It's getting them to sign. We had Crowley locked up all cycle until Ohio State offered him near the end of the season. As soon as that offer came, he ghosted.

We are rockin it at 3-4....And, honestly, we are only like 6 plays away from winning the Super Bowl.....Where 3-4 and have only lost one important decommitt. So far so good

Honestly Osborne is the best transfer we got. Martell 3rd string QB wont give him a chance. Hill just ok not dominant. Bolden just got eligible. Kennedy not a D1 player. If you are going to bring in a transfer he needs to be here for spring camp like Osborne found out he can play and Kennedy cannot. Now lets see if the portal hurts Miami this year with guys bolting out of here.He missed on every top target he went after & the best DB in the class decommitted twice. He is the best speaker we have had since Al Golden. So you are basically saying he speaks better than Richt.
