Good lord, what a ridiculous and truly stupid post.
First, nobody anointed him the savior. Before we got Beck and with what we had on the roster, people felt that he was better than Emory and Judd. Which, of course, is not high praise. So stop it with this "savior" crap.
He's still a high school kid, at least on a normal calendar basis. If Emory and/or Judd leave, he will absolutely be the backup. QB of the future is an unknown, but you have to prepare for it.
Adjusting to the speed of the next level is normal. He has had exactly one practice in pads.
None of that is an excuse or a rationalization. But to make such idiotic predictions and projections after 8 practices, only 1 in pads, is just insane.
