Tim "ICE" Harris UM video interview

cant a top notch school have an area where we can do ******* interviews without the wind hallowing or mowers and equipment interrupting every **** interview.....what a half *** run organization at time..

He clearly has aspirations to get into coaching at the college level. I would like to see him remain here and eventually end up in a position coach role after he gets the degree. Is he an offensive or defensive guy?

During his reign of terror here, this is probably the smartest thing Al Golden has ever done.

Ideally, Ice stays on as a position coach after getting his degree.

And for once, I agree with Neal. Do we not have an area inside where the media can conduct interviews? It seems most of these are held on top of a jack hammer inside a wind tunnel.

What?? You didn't appreciate the gusty wind in the interviews?? Reporter: "So Ice, what is your (guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuushhhhhhhh). Ice: "You know I'm just happy that (guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuushhhhh, guush, ggggguuuuuuuuuuuuush). Reporter: "Thanks for the insight, have a good one."

A great building piece for our recruiting. I hope we get a lot kids from his relationships and further builds our connections.

Once Harris gets his degree, he's going to be a wanted man at some big time schools.

Golden better have a plan in place for him and they better be ready to compensate him accordingly.

While he's well known for offense, he played DB and could replace Paul Williams as DB coach.

So, Ice, how does it feel to be back at the U?

Why do you think Williams needs to be replaced? Or do you think he gets poached from us I'm the future?

The most logical progression is to running back coach. That is the generally where you place your best recruiter and least experienced coach if possible since running back is more ability based performance. So Hurley would move to DB coach, Harris would move to RB, and Williams would move on to a DC position somewhere or a DB coach at another school /NFL.

Go Canes

That was a great interview & it leads me to think Ice will become a constant on this staff for the foreseeable future. Golden has obviously set something up for him after he get his degree. One more bad season on Defenses and their will be a lot of open positions for him to fill.

WHY Do people keep saying defense....

this guy is an OFFENSIVE coach...and coaches qbs in particular.....

all THREE of his sons have played qb for him.

After he gets his degree i see alot of schools coming after him...but i just dot see him leavin south florida....hopefully we can bring him on as a position coach where im sure thereew will be a spot.

We are paying him A TON to get his degree, so he can coach and recruit here. There is a plan.

He doesnt havent have a track record of doing smart thing but maybe he should of offered him the job prior to signing day so his kid comes with him? When does Ice hit the recruiting trail thats where it really going to pay off to get the local kids to Miami. This was the smartest move that he has done since being at Miam next one will be fire his D CORD:cigar:

NCAA says you can't do that.

Glad to have back with the good guys and hopefully he wants to stick around after finishing his education.
