Thurston's Cleats

So I noticed in the game on Saturday that Thurston Armbrister had different cleats than the rest of the team (they were actually pretty cool though, all black and orange). I was just wondering if anyone would know why that is. Does he get special permission to wear different cleats cuz the other ones don't fit him well or something? It's not a big deal, just something I found interesting.

And this is merely something I noticed during the game and was curious about, so if you're one of those people who flips out every time someone posts something uniform-related, then please don't respond. Just ignore the thread and move on.

I am posting this large on purpose. Are these the ones you're speaking of? Look at the player behind and off Chick's left shoulder. He has on different cleats.

Yup those are the cleats and that's Thurston Armbrister (#34). Thanks for posting the pic.

That would be a nice look. I'm still wondering how he was the only guy on the team rocking those cleats. Did he buy them himself? I seem to remember AJ Highsmith rocking all black cleats last season and no one else had them...
