Would be interesting to see what all of you would do if you were the Miami Hurricanes( Athletic Director. If you could make three changes, what would you do?

Keep it clean, make it reasonable, and think long term! (lol...this could get ugly)

My three:
1. Build. A Friggin' Stadium. Build a stadium near the school for the school. Make a home that is the right size and distance for the Canes. Enough with this Sun Life debacle.
2. Take A-Rod's name off of the ball park and name it after Ron Frazier. It is getting more and more embarrassing to have this guy's name on our national championship team's park. Find a way and get it changed.
3. Keep coaches accountable. It doesn't matter what sport. If the coaches aren't recruiting and getting the results, then time to make a change. Don't be shy about pulling the trigger. Make the hard decisions to keep Miami always challenging for conference and national titles.

Good list, but ARod gives a lot to the school, and honestly I think he is being railroaded. I'm not a fan, but I believe him, and after watching Boshs 60 minutes garbage. I'm very confident he is less than honest with the facts. He's lying, or at least not telling the full story. Eyes and body language NEVER lie!

I couldnt name a single Hurricanes baseball player so not sure who you would name it after. Then again I cant name many baseball players at all. Just get me a stadium

Explore every option for a stadium. Nothing else matters. Blake James should pester Shalala at every turn until she realizes the current situation can't be tolerated, and is a steady drain on the program. I have more related confidence in James than others who have held the position recently.

1. Lobby to lower academic standards for football players
2. Set up a "buyout fund" so when golden gets canned we aren't crippled
3. Fire Andreu Swasey and hire someone with a degree

1. Adhere to the process.

2. Respect the Core Values

3. Add a few more Pillars

Property for a stadium is a no go forever. Forget it. Property to move buildings in the middle of the campus could happen.then build the stadium in the middle of the campus.

1. Address the stadium ordeal. Maybe tare down that Herald rag building and put it right on the bay next to the AAA. (I can dream)

2. Hold these coaches accountable should this next season be a regression.

3. Black cleats/ Black socks. Don't **** with the helmet!!

1. Find a way to get out of the Sun Life lease and get into Marlins Park temporarily until a stadium is built possibly at Tropical Park or Melreese Golf course on Lejune near the airport.

2. Hold only Head Coaches accountable. Don't force them to fire assistants. That's never good for business.

3. Set a standard of academic excellence for all student athletes. Stanford is proving you don't have to lower your standards in order to be competitive and win. Let the the local high schools adapt to your standards and not ours to theirs.

Problem is, Stanford has no overtown. BIG difference from Stanford crop fields and Miami crop fields

Stanford for the most part recruits nationally.
Miami wouldn't necessarily have to but for only a handful of players. There enough good ballers in South Fl that meet the entrance requirements, which I would suspect are lower then Stanfords.

All 3 are pretty good. At this point I would tell Golden, if you are not making staff changes you live with the results. Finish here ***, or you are fired.

1) Work on a deal with County and Beckham's group to join in the stadium at the Port of Miami. Capacity TBD

2) Tarp more top sections of the stadium max. 50K capacity at Sun Life Stadium

1. Raise money for a bubble/indoor practice facility . . . S Fla weather is an issue( rain/heat), top programs have one and - since we don't have an on-campus stadium - it would be something to show recruits.
2. As suggested above, tarp top sections of the stadium max. 50K capacity at Sun Life Stadium.
3. Engage in conversations with the Marlins/county/city on the feasibility of converting stadium for football (Like others, would love a new stadium, but it's not realistic)
4. Intensive marketing efforts to get folks to games, including the smart-***, know-it-alls hiding behind computer keyboards on this site.
5. Work closer with the HC and address what he deems necessary to enhance the program: further improvements to facilities, academic support/admissions standards, recruiting transportation/private jet, additional support staff positions, competitive salaries

Very good and REALISTIC points.
