Thopre award watch list: No T. Howard

Am I looking through orange and green glasses here in not seeing him on this list? I realize pre-season lists are meaningless and he needs to show out on the field but I believe he's got more skill than some of the guys on that list.

scheme does matter. if you're a lock down corner but playing zone coverage then obviously the scheme matters

pre season polls, lists, rankings in college football are probably the most inaccurate data ever.

only few at the top stick around when the season is over and every year there are surprises. Tracy can get on that list and win it to if he performs on the field

Totally agree, just surprised they don't see him as on the top 25-30 DB's in the country.

Tracy's size is catching up with his attitude. Should be a nice year for him. His INT against UiF is still one of my favorite moments of the season

Mine as well. Hope we allow him to play far more man coverage this year as I feel like he can lockdown his half of the field.

the best part about that was.. RIGHT before.. I mean right before that play Quincy tweeted that they should throw towards Tracy because he sucked .. and he gets the pic.. i think twitter raped Quincy that day

Thorpe award don't mean **** anyway. Any award that goes to Derrick Strait over ST means nothing.

He is decidedly not a first round lock. The overblown prognostications on here never cease.

He has a lot of work to get into the first 2-3 rounds, but that's because he's not a burner.

I still thought he was good enough last year to be on the preseason watch list.
