Undisciplined players committing the same penalties over and over AND decision not to go for 2 field goals. Stupid is as stupid does. Simply got out coached. Handed GT the game on a platter.

So we just give the WR’s and Cam Ward a pass because they have been good all year? Got it…how about you grow some ******* nuts and blame everyone in this program for the loss. You are 4th in the nation are sitting in the drivers seat and lay a ******* egg to a 5-4 team.

Lack of knowledge of the defense by the secondary is what is most alarming

Like the 3rd down conversion picking up 18 when Meesh handed off the wr to absolutely nobody who I guess was Harris’s (shocker) responsibility is absolutely comical… these dudes have zero clue where they need to be… I’m not making fun of anyone but Jesus men get y’all’s heads in the playbook and know this **** man. Y’all talk about nfl careers show the initiative

Coaches deserve blame but not the reasons you state. Not having a good gameplan nor making correct adjustments are the reason its on coaching. I think not kicking FGs early I kind of get it because of the way the game was going but when you lose by 5 its a bad decision in hindsight. Also in terms of penalties this was probably our cleanest game from that standpoint lol

But overall I'd lean towards player execution then coaching.

Our players are not this bad. It's like we don't watch film and prepare at all (I know we do) and have to make "Adjustments" at the half. Even the announcers are catching on to our pattern. Guidry should be fired at end of season, Dawson on hot seat too. Without Cam, we are a mid-level ACC team.

In previous weeks ppl hated cuz we kicked FGs…now ppl hate cuz we went for it.

You just don’t like the result neither do I.

But the decision to go or not go isn’t as important as the execution of whatever you decide.

Which we were very poor in our play selection and execution.

Guirdy has run out of schemes to try.

Man, Zone spot drops, zone match. Nothing has worked consistently. We do need to stop the stunts though.

OL was terrible and Wiffense was horrendous as they’ve been most of the season. Only difference this go around was Cam couldn’t bail us out.

McCord will have a career day against us.

Totally agree. It's Guidry's responsibility at the end of the day, but the lack of football IQ by the majority of the secondary is really depressing. I don't know what DC can be successful when guys are continually making those kind of mental mistakes.

Add to that the slowest group of LBs since probably the dark days of the '70's, a DL that disappears for stretches at a time and you get what you got today. I think most of us knew a loss was coming this year. Unfortunately today was the day.

All in all, still stoked about the step forward this season, having the opportunity to see the best season of QB play in Miami history, and X end his career as the receiving record holder at the U. Hopefully they can win these last 2 games and get into the ACC Championship.

Hindsight is always 20/20 in life, but even moreso on CIS.
