I went back & watched Chickillo play against UF as a DE & inside in the 50. His technique is atrocious. He gets scoop blocked several times & hasn't figured out how to release against his pressure key. Sure as **** his DL coach hasn't taught him.

Yes he is a 4 year starter on a terrible defense maybe he was part of the problem. Chick is a effort guy but not very athletic which is the problem, we need to play the best player period.

He's also had nobody on the other side or the interior to take any heat off him. He's been stout at the point of attack for the most part and works his *** off when he's on the field. What has Kamalu proven? McCord and Mohammed are different players than Chick.

I agree the Chick works his *** off, sure. But the limited action that I remember Kamalu getting, he just came across as the superior player IMO. Not saying he is a world beater, just think he looks like the better player. 71 is just aight in my book, but that's just my opinion. Maybe you're right that he hasn't had anyone on the other side helping with the pressure, maybe that's just what he's be told to do. Just making an observation.
