First thing is i'm not going to bed upset not based on what i saw.........Here's why what don't some of you guys understand about not having QUALITY depth?

easy example look at our back feild vs fsu They roll out Freeman, wilder and williams who's really their best back if you ask me. We have duke and two guys built like duke in crawford and clements with MUCH less talent.(TRUTH) Yes having three guys who can punish a defense makes a difference like EDGE my bother and najeh
we also had santana reggie bubba franks................NOW we got DUKE thats it dorsett OK he not reggie or tana **** i'd take hankerson right now another playmaker. To keep the defense honest.

We ARE an extremely well coach team for the first time in a long time. If you cant see the difference between this staff and randy's you don't know football. What were having to do because of the lack or horses aka D1 speed and talent is play ZONE we never played zone before. When you cant match the other teamsspeed you run zone WE always ran man in the past because we had corners who could cover one on one. We had safety's who could fake a blitz and get back in time to cover their deep half or just go make a play at the los maybe even blitz and sack the qb (e reed) IF we do that **** now WE got AJ highsmith trying to get back over the top LOLZ. We played zone most of the night they sat in the zone soft spots and went 11-13 (or whatever) on third downs That simple.

Highsmith (sorry aj) is playing safety for us this is the **** Al has to work with. He should not be on the field period not for us anyways.(Truth)

I do think our CBs Gunter, Howard, and Crawford are legit. Unfortunately the rest of the defense isn't talented enough.

Your not going to bed ****ed about an *** whooping and an Al Golden team still not showing up for a big game? FLA isn't good , so I am not counting that as one anymore.

We played hard tonight we didnt lay down THEY HAVE MORE HORSES. wtf can he do about that? we werent outcoached we were OUTMANNED

I don't see how anyone can spin any sort of postitve out of this. We played like **** for 4 weeks in a row. That USF win wasn't really that great either.
 
Bottom line is offensively we couldn't stay on the field on third down and defensively couldn't get off the field.

Theme of the year, and mainly on offense. Even vs the FAU of the world we couldn't convert 3rd downs.

I think you contradicted yourself in your OP. You said we dont have any stars on the team (aside from Duke) but also said we're close to getting the talent level back where it needs to be. I think the latter is correct. We have legit D1 all conference talent in:


* Gunter
* Tracy Howard
* Deon Bush (when fully healthy)
* Artie Burns (next year)
* Jamal Carter (next year - definite upgrade over Rogers/Highsmith)
* AQM
* McCord

*Stacy Coley
* Phillip Dorsett (we missed him tonight)
* Rayshawn Scott (missed him too tonight)


I do agree with the gist of your post.

I agree with the recruiting aspect. We came from a **** coach who did no player evaluation, recruited stars and left Golden **** to work with **** first year. Freeman would have possibly came to Miami if he was recruited but he wasnt. ****annon didnt want a 5'9" RB. The past 2 years Golden has faced the NCAA cloud and all the negative recruiting to get players. Top players dont want to come to a program that is in a shamble and uncertainty.
FSU had no issues, no cloud, no negative recruiting. They are able to reload and reload hard. Golden is taking the program in the right direction, speed and talent are coming back little by little. I have faith and patience to see it come back around.
We lost to a good team, they might go to a NC. We also have the chance to break their hopes, by playing them again, we just need to move forward and win from here on out. No one, saw this team in the position they are right now, 7 - 1, it still great to be a Miami Hurricane.
Get your mopey asses up and be proud of what we have done. Last year we were mediocre, this year we are moving forward and are better and have grown.
 
what's said is our seniors a.k.a. the shannon holdovers like walford, morris, and highsmith were our biggest liabilities.

I am still excited about our future. Our 2012 and 2013 guys arent scared. Bush will be a stud, he is in the situation
like Kirby last year. he just isnt ready from the injury.

Tracy, Gunter, and Jenkins have shown they can make big plays. Unfortunately, aside from Figs, all our EE's last year
where linemen or Tight Ends. A off-season of weigh training for AQM, Jermaine Grace,Jamal Carter, Artie Burns, Stacy
Coley, etc will take these kids to another level. I also think Herb Waters could be much more effective with a legit qb
because i feel like i always see morris missing him when he is open. we are on our way. Two years from now, things
will be totally different.
