Third String QB

A lot was made of who the second string QB would be going into the season, and Vinny Jr was said to be the other guy battling for the #2 spot. I wonder, though, if he is going to be the third string QB, or if he was in the running in order to motivate Shirreffs to step up. I will be curious to see, if it happens, who plays in that #3 spot today.
