UM says it will use only a 50-yard field for Saturday's spring game at 6 p.m. at Sun Life. Alumni will stand on the field.

It actually won't be a spring game. Its gonna be offense vs defense, situational stuff. 7 vs 7 and 1 vs 1. I think they're making it more a fan event as opposed to an actual football thing. Uniforms being unveiled and other stuff.

Should be a fun event. I'm looking forward to it.

Side note:

I'm new to this board as of December, so I wasn't around for the regular season. Does this board have some sort of communal tailgate? It would be cool to have one, if we don't already do that. Also, do we have board tshirts that are distinguishable to us?

I honestly have no problem with this. The uniform unveiling and Olsen under center with the 1's will be the highlight of the night anyway. Hopefully Greg is in the house to support little bro.

I like this format better. I've never thought the spring game was particularly enjoyable to watch, especially with the mish mashed "drafted" teams we've done under Golden. Would rather see our best get after our best.

So the carnival is taking place on the other side of the 50?

With so many uniform designs I'm wondering how are they going to unveil the uniforms. Will each player wear a different one or will it just be pictures of the new unis?

Nobody better lay their filthy fingers on Baby Jesus. He's our ticket back to relevance.
