There once was a young skinny kid from California who came to the "U" and took us to the promise land. Could Kayaa be that "second coming"??

No. Ken Dorsey is Ken Dorsey and Brad Kayaa is Brad Kayaa. Why are Miami fans obsessed with trying to fit everything and everyone into some previous mold?

Not trying to fit anyone into anything. Point is a great QB came from California to the "U" and became a great leader of this team. Simple question was "could Kayaa do the same thing"?

Kyle Wright ring a bell of last Cali qb? Ended up being a bust. Kaaya is great, but let's not put that expectation yet. Patience, time will tell. I do think he's gonna do some great things, but must calm down my friend. It's early, let's see what happens.

Kaaya not skinny or average arm. Got a rocket, totally different from Dorsey.

Kayaa's got every throw in the book..Wowed Dilfer at Elite 11 who said same thing..The guy throws just like Petyon Manning..We've got the California Player of the Year...What most people don't realize is he only started on the varsity half way through his junior year..Thats quite a climb...Congrats to Coley who found him last year when the radar was off..

It was not just Kenny...it was a host of things..

Rbs 5 deep all 4+ stars

WRS..future NFL HOF type WRs the rest just pro bowl guys.

Olineman pro Bowl

TE probowl

and a Defense was top 5 the whole time he was here....they scored lots of points....

Kenny was a piece of a great puzzle...and a great leader....leadership has been lacking since he left..if Brock would have had leadership..( winslow was a locker room ****) we could have still went after a ship with him..the players were there...we lacked vision and leadership....

We would run toss plays on 3rd and 8 and get 12, that was an unbelievable O-line.

This thread disappoints.

I saw the title and thought it was an adapted Gladiator speech: "There was once a dream that was Miami...."

"You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile"

Kaaya also already outweighs 2002 Dorsey by 20 pounds, and 1999 Dorsey by about 40-45 pounds.
