Northwestern beats Central on a two-point conversion in double overtime. 45-44. Central misses the playoffs after four straight state titles. Northwestern finally ends Central's dominance in the rivalry.

This was after beating BTW last week too..

I'm so proud of them for finally putting an end to Central's win streak against us... MNW has had one **** of a season this year, barring the 2 point loss to AH, they should be undefeated right now.

The West is definitely back this year!

We also need to take a closer look at Roy Livingstone for 2018, I know there's a bunch of other kids ahead of him on our board, but that kid is an absolute playmaker.
 
Without a doubt, Miami Central is the best team in the nation to not make the playoffs. That's ridiculous, wow.

Glad MNW is back, the world doesn't seem right without them being up there.

wow...4 straight titles to not making the playoffs...holy crap...only in south florida....cuz it's definitely not for losing too much talent
 
My favorite prospect on Northwestern is Samuel Brooks Jr., Big & Fast 6'3" 190+ DE/LB class of 2019. Keep a very close eye on that kid the next two years. I think he will blow up.

1. Steed was in on some nice plays when he was in, but looks like he missed quite a few defensive snaps. Normal substitutions or did he get banged up or ?
2. Donaldson looked like he got pretty gassed there at the end and got a bit sloppy. We need him coming in ready for 4 quarters from day one.
3. Hope we can find a way to take Atwell.

Steed was ready to go. They had him playing OLB most of the game. I really don't like what Central was doing defensively when most of NW runs was up the middle. He said they had him at OLB because he was the best LB they had in pass coverage but with how easy it was for NW to move the ball rushing, they should have put him back in the middle imo. Oh well its over now so he just needs to stay in shape until Spring.

its because those other teams are loaded with talent and those kids aren't scared of each other. Look at South Ridge how much talent they have and still loosing
 
Tutu has that roscoe Parrish look to him. Mnw just needed a qb to bring them back..bit they seem to have alot of other div 1 caliber guys still. Kai Henry is a d1 back all the way. Livingstone , Moore at wr. Now with them winning watch they get some of the optomist talent to head back and stop going to central
