exactly, if he is such a great offensive coach then why has he been fired so many times? does bama really have any issues with recruiting as of now? they handpick who they want

If you want to talk about strong getting stronger...just think Petrino HC/OC and Tressel DC at Louisville...this is a real possibility.
 
Because he a terrible head coach those are two different entities.

Great offensive coach? Ask USC fans what they think about that. 7-6 in 2012 with an offense that had an O-Line full of the beloved 5 stars, as well as Matt Barkley, Marquise Lee AND Robert Woods. Fired after starting this season 3-2, which included losing a home game to Washington State (lead by noted defensive guru Mike Leach) 10-7.

It's UL that should worry everyone.

No QB, lost key players, who knows what happens to this recruiting class, but you can bet Petrino will have UL light years ahead of us by Labor Day.
 
Kiffin is a bad offensive coordinator as well. Saban can't be that dumb to hire Lane Kiffin...
