Is it possible that the rotating of the offensive line, I mean is this done anywhere else with success. I always thought you picked your best 5 and rolled with them. I know you do it on defense, but your o-line needs the continuity of playing together for longer than a couple of series. Either that or I need to quit drinking.:emotcrown::emotcrown::emotcrown:

Yes and no. Yes, I definitely think they should pick the best 5, I guess the staff thinks they're keeping them "fresh". I honestly don't understand the tactic since the linemen can never get comfortable playing next to each other. And no, definitely keep drinking!

Biggest problem guys just weak. This team is still not where it needs to be strength wise. Our online is huge and gets pushed around. Our strength and conditioning program needs a lot of work. We are weak on both sides of the line.

SMH. Our O-line isn't getting pushed around. Jesus. That's such a general statement that anybody can make. Watch the film.

We're getting beat with speed. Some of our guys are too slow. We have weak links at TE and Center.

We're not getting pushed around, we're simply whiffing most of the time. There ain't a DL in the country that can flat-out push us around. Ain't happening. People have tried and failed thus they went with slanting/angling. (i.e. the speed approach)

If we'd stop trying to get cute with all these **** reach plays and just man-up and maul people we'd probably have more success. I'm watching the game right now. Nobody's getting pushed around.

If you don't run the zone scheme well, it opens up holes for guys to shoot through on short yardage. Our guys don't run it well. Their timing and steps are off and their technique when they are supposed to double then slide off for a guy on the second level is lacking. Plus, some of these guys are just not quick enough or good enough to make their backside reach blocks or cut blocks. I have to watch more tape but it could be a technique problem like leading with the wrong foot. All i know is it's bad. Backside defenders are making tackles all the time.

That's been my beef all year. The reach block is one of the hardest to execute for a big slow guy but we ask guys to do it over and over all season long on critical short yardage situations.

What WDC said and can we just play our best five until we absolutely have to play someone else.

Y r we playing to the weakness of our oline? R we not completely neutralizing a potential strength of this team?

What is so tragically funny is that Golden seems absolutely intent on running systems that don't fit his personnel on both sides of the ball. I want to support Golden and Co., I really do, but sh*t like that makes it really, really, really, hard.

I don't mind a little zone blocking here and there...

But...

I find it funny that we gain a minimum of 5 yards every time we simply line-up and mash. We don't get worked until we start going with the slow developing stuff.
