Is championship level right now. If our defense wasn't this bad, we'd be routing teams. When they're clicking, our offense is **** near unstoppable.

We have a top 5 offensive line IMO.

Our quarterback isn't perfect but he's surely the best we've had since Dorsey I think. The two minute drive at Ga Tech and the leadership he displays, and the arm, and the **** load of yards all back me up. Oh, AND he can run too, which we've barely even scratched the surface of.

We have Duke, who everyone knows is special

Mike James is a horse

Our WR's are athletic and explosive

Compare us to an "above average" ACC team like NC State, who just looked anaemic. It didn't look like they had a single playmaker on their entire squad.

If we just had a decent D we would be a force to be reckoned with.

If the offense can improve their consistency, it can be much better too.

I wouldn't say championship level but better play calling away from it.
Fisch's play calling towards the end nearly lost us the game.
Kudos to Morris for bailing him out. That's what great players good, they mask poor play calling.

Championship offenses don't get 6 turnovers and only muster 7 points off of them (at the end, especially).

I don't agree.

Championship-level offenses can run the ball better than we do. They can convert better in the red zone than we do. They don't make so many mistakes, and disappear for multiple quarters.

We're explosive, no doubt. But we ain't championship-level.

Let's see how we look against Notre Dame and FSU's defenses before we start talking about being title caliber.

Our offense is better than Alabama or LSU.

This. Our OL isn't anywhere near top whatever. Not when it can't pound the rock consistently.

And our D would look better (relatively speaking) if our O would chew up more time running the ball.

The O is ahead of the D, but let's not get carried away. Last year we lost a lot of close games. This year we've won them so far.

We aren't as good as our record. But we're improving. That's what matters to me.

We didn't run the ball a lick today. The offense is good, but still has work to do.

The offense won't be championship level until they have a consistent running game.

this. we are not close to a championship level offense. NC State is not a top 25 team, and we simply could not run the ball on them, just as we could not do so against BC, or K St. Don't forget that we benefited from FIVE turnovers in this game. that is **** near unheard of.
