Take a look at our schedule for the next 10 games.

at Syracuse
Georgia Tech
at Florida State
Louisville
Clemson
at Wake Forest
at Boston College
Virginia Tech
at Louisville
Florida State

I didn't look at everyone else ACC schedule but I would venture a guess that is one of the easiest 10 game stretches in the league. We only play 2 games against a ranked team and that is Louisville twice.

7-3 over this stretch basically locks us into the NCAA baring a collapse. That would put our record in the ACC at 10-5 and 20-8 overall.

I think 6-4 in this stretch has us right on the bubble.

If we split those 10 games and just win the home games that puts us 8-7 and 18-10. Probably out of the dance and definitely needing to win our last 3 games going into the ACC tourney.

It all starts with Syracuse. A win Saturday could see us on a 4 game win streak headed into Louisville at home.

Realistically, this is very attainable....

L-at Syracuse
W-Georgia Tech
W-at Florida State
L-Louisville
W-Clemson
W-at Wake Forest
W-at Boston College
W-Virginia Tech
L-at Louisville
W-Florida State

That's 7-3. That would put us at 20-8, 10-5. At that point, we'd be playing for a seed, not a berth. Now, with our inconsistent play, I'd be happy with 6-4, which would mean 19-9, 9-6, which would still be looking good as long as we didn't bomb the last 3 games.

Syracuse was a huge win!

It's so tough. Evey team in this stretch will be looking for Miami as a team they can beat.

No room for error. Can't split with awful FSU, can't lose to VT or BC or Clemson, or GT, one of the worst teams in all basketball.

Right now, 9-1 should be the goal. 8-2 good, 7-3 acceptable, 6-4 and NIT.

Team is playing SO much better, but as I said, those sickening losses to Green Bay, middle Kentucky and Providence gave us NO room for error.

If we can beat the teams we are better than, we are gonna end up a nice seed.

Providence and Green Bay losses aren't the problem, directional Kentucky was the killer. This team seems to love the big games. Yes, these ten games appear easy but when looking back at how we play the less talented opponents, there needs to be some concern.

I think the overall pre ncaa tournament goal should be stay out of a play in game and top 5 seed
