15-0 is the current number to have a perfect season in CFB. Do a 10 game season with the last game matchups determined by the first nine. The last game would include conference championships. Then a 32 teams playoff tournament begins. The winner and runner up both play 15 games. Done!

Makes too much sense, considering other divisions do this very thing. A 10-game schedule wouldn't allow the SEC to pad their records with cream puffs.

If you are any good a longer season is warranted. Everyone plays at least 10 games. Time to trim the fat

I agree with you 100%...my comment that it makes too much sense was sarcasm directed at the NCAA because they won't do it even though other divisions have done it for years.

4 vs 4 week one (4 games), top 4 get a bye week
4 vs 4 week two (4 games)
2 vs 2 week three (2 games)
1 vs 1 week four (1 game)

CFP is going from 3 games to 11 games next year. I would much rather it be an 8 team play-off. 4v4, 2v2,1v1. IF we ever see a 12 seed win it all, they will expand to 16. If we ever see a 13-16 win it all, they will expand to 24-32.

I’ve never seen this fanbase use it’s collective brain to come up with more solutions than their supposed hated rival being left out of the playoffs...

You mf’ers have displayed over the last 2 days that yall are willing to move Heaven & Earth in order to ensure that FSU makes the playoffs. Yall are outraged as if you have a significant rooting interest in the Noles overall program success.

I remember the good ol’ days when you guys allegedly hated all things Nole & wanted Deion burned alive because he brought attention to Colorado... now you guys are shedding more tears than Chief Osceola himself.

What a bizarre turn of events for CIS.

have the season be single elimination. #1 plays number 200 or w/e lose and you're out. make a loser bracket that if the schools want to continue playing games for revenue they can schedule another loser.
