Posted this in another thread. This is actually an obvious situation. The 09 and 10 recruiting classes should be the core of this team right now. The vast majority of those players aren't even on the field. It's as if someone pressed restart on the program, we're like 80% freshman and sophomore. Due to Randy's ineptitude, we have no base on which to compete with older stronger teams. Instead we have a bunch of small young kids who have to start in place of the Juniors and Seniors who should be carrying this team. We are two recruiting classes away from legitimate relevance. Until then, be patient and face reality.

They look decent when they get to the pros so we cant use that anymore after watching Maine slow down BC.

How do you come up with this response when the OP is talking about our young kids having to play before they're ready? This has nothing to do with how guys are playing in the pros (even though none of them are playing well anyway).

Exactly.
 
Well obviously they aren't as garbage as we think if they are picked up and COACHED up by a team. Arthur Brown was a dud for us but is a player for KState.It's about the scheme and so fla players typically are in attacking schemes.

Agree with Brock. While FSU, Bama, and the other big programs redshirt 75% of their fresman class to field a larger, stronger, smarter team, we are forced to put these KIDS to work with minimal experience or weight training. Gonna take time (and some JUCO's on the D Line to slow folks down in the mean time).

Out of those players do you see any ACC All Americans or NFL players?

How man starters do you see?

How many are impact players on defense?



Now Look at the defense as a whole

Defense Seniors
1. Ramon Buchanan
2. Branon Mcgee
3. Darrius Smith
4. VT

Out of the senior class who has made plays?

Defensive JRs
Kelvin Cain
Tyrone Cornelius
Jimmy Gaines
Shayon Green
Aj Highsmith
Curtis Porter
Luther Robinson
Kacy Rogers

When you look at the Jr's how many of them are impact players. Other than Porter there is not much there.

AB is a SR. As a FR and SO he would have been a dud at KSU as well.

That's the main point of this thread. We have little SR players.

we are young and our upperclassmen are JAGs for the most part no doubt BUT there is something more to it than just that IMO. you don't get completely obliterated like we did on saturday if your coaching is competent
