Every time I turn on ESPN... haters full blown. Kevin Carter, Jessie Palmer, Jason Sehorn, that fuxkin ***** Indian, Luginbill, belotti

Florida win game doesn't deserve credit. Florida is awful.

Having to rally against a bad GT team... Come from behind wins over a pathetic UNC team and WF.

The CANES don't deserve to be top 20.. Yada yada yada. "But give them some credit with the ability to win under the cloud"

I mean is this **** for real? I love the hate!!! But some of this **** is over the top. No one wants us to succeed. Constant bashing.

I hope to god we come out and abuse FSU! I hope **** busts his leg when DP slams his ***.

Should be posted on every locker, along with the little brother comment...so the chip grows. Being up is expected, but over looked and ****ed off is better.

No one in the media was saying Notre Dame wasnt a legit top 10 team when they barely beat (or "almost lost to") BYU, Pitt, and Purdue last year.

Dumbest talking point all year.....

the only teams that are undefeated in the BCS top 25 are Alabama, Oregon, FSU, OSU, Baylor, Miami, Fresno St, and NIU. (8)

1 loss teams..... Stanford(5th), Clemson(8th), Mizzou (9th), Oklahoma (10th), Auburn, Texas Tech, OK. St, Louisville, Michigan, Mich. St, and UCF. (11)

2 loss teams..... aTm, LSU, USCe, UCLA, Wisconsin, Notre Dame (6)

Where are the legit top 10 teams that are being overlooked for Miami?.... oh that's right they lost.

Stanford has the worst 1 loss of any 1 loss team in the entire top 25 yet they are ranked 5th..... but an undefeated Miami team that's ranked 7th is the problem.
 
Maybe the media is doing this on purpose to give the Canes material to get jacked up for a good game.

No the media is venting their frustrations over the NCAA verdict, I really believe that to be the case. This is their last real chance to discredit Miami and mock them without being obvious about it. I get the feeling several of them think Miami deserves to get embarrassed on Saturday night.

The interesting thing is how will they handle our victory. Will it be FSU blew, gave them the game, overconfident, had the flu. Or, will it be FSU actually stinks, Clemson was very over-rated for beating a over-rated UGA. We all got caught up in the hype of a freshman QB. Next year he will really be something and then FSU will contend. Miami still hasn't beaten anyone, any two loss SEC team is better, even some 3 loss SEC team would challenge the Canes.

Let's just pray that they don't start praising us until after we beat Bama for the NC. Ideally they will spend the whole off season claim we where a flash in the pan carried by the emotional rush of the 300 year NCAA investigation--followed by a detailed restatement of every allegation of the liar.

I am so glad. I was very uncomfortable with the piety we were getting over the NCAA stuff. This is more like it. Nothing is a better statement that we are back. We just need some hate directed at Al to confirm it.

Media has been unbearable

I wonder how their wives feel knowing they got a 19 yr olds **** in their mouth blowing him everyday
 
Let's face it. Other than brief moments in time this university has never, ever been respected. Or when it was, it had to be EARNED and then RE-EARNED at every **** turn. But the amount vitriolic, mocking disrespect this week for this game has reached the point of degradation. Part of it is this teams own fault for playing down to its competition. But if you needed anymore proof (which if it took this week than you're down right blind or get a paycheck from ESPN) that there is an agenda against this program, it's been all out there in print, online, and broadcast almost by the minute this week.

This team. This program needs to embrace it. And it needs to stop trying to curry these ******** favor. Respect is not given and nowadays no matter what your body of work, it's rarely earned if you aren't among the predetermined media darlings. You have to grab these ****ers by the throat and TAKE it. And then, when they begrudgingly give it to you, give them the ******* finger and tell them where they can ******* shove it.

That can all start Saturday night. The stage is set. Now all Al and this team have to do is take it.

Listen, we have looked like crap the last several weeks where as FSU has looked like a legit NC contender. It will take a much improved effort from our team to win this game, I don't think predicting we get blown out is way out of line. Vegas has us as a 24 pt dog for a reason.
 
No Vegas has us as that large an underdog because they want to cover their *** and is well aware of the public falling all over themselves to felate the Noles. Don't get it twisted. "Wise Guys" aren't the grand prognosticators that they're made out to be.

This. There's a serious public misconception of what a point spread represents. A point spread is in place so that there is just as much betting on either side. Casinos dont make money off of winning bets, they make money off of the QUANTITY of bets made. Anyone who has placed a ten dollar bet to win $9.05 can figure this out. Right now there is a serious public oral fixation going on with FSU and a conception that we are an inferior team to say the least. ESPN is a casinos worst friend, bc they drive the hype machine that ***** up their bank roll. Anyone that has seen this series knows its a close one, but casinos hands are tied. If they were to make the line -10.5 - 14, which is where it probably should be, then theres no way anyone would bet Miami and they would have to cash all those tickets.
 
The media would love for Miami to be the laughing stock of college football because we are not anything near what your typical institution of higher learning should be. We are a private university, in the middle of a huge metropolitan area. We don't sell out our stadium, (or even have our own stadium), don't get state funding, we don't have a huge alumni base that donates a ton of money, and we still force everyone to know us. We beat down all of the fairytale theories of what a powerhouse program should be. They want us just relevant enough to make fun of, but not enough to beat the "Big boys". They are taking, what may be their last opportunity to bash us, before we are back to beating down the good ole boys. What is going to be funny is, how are they going to retract when we win?
