I just wanted a post to get away with this bashing/fire Golden and fire D’Onofrio rant.

We have alot to look foward for next season with this young team.

1.) Over more than half of the team coming back.
2.) AJ Highsmith and Rodgers leaving, great recruiting class coming in.
3.) Competition at QB position with Williams, Olsen and possibly Coker.
4.) A full year under Coley Offense.
5.) Duke and Dorsett back healthy with Stacey Coley being more experienced.
6.) D’Onofrio fired and replaced by someone with a much qualified resume.
7.) Better Depth
8.) Bush should be fully healthy, Secondary should be the best in ACC if not Nation.
9.) Elder offical coming out party

If we do not make it to a major BCS bowl game next year then I will be on board with firing Golden.

I sure hope Duke recovers well. You never know with injuries...I've seen plenty of times where a guy (1) is never the same, or (2) isn't the same until a few years down the like a/k/a once he's in the NFL.

In my mind I'm counting Duke as a difference maker next year. And of course we're talking about an elite, upper-echelon type of player that can really change a team. Coley is another guy like that. Obviously the more of those guys the better chance we have to be the type of team we want.

Hope Duke comes back as the Duke we know and love. Fingers crossed.

We currently have 0 safeties committed and only Carter as a backup. He can't even pass Highsmith this year so that's a concern. Mark D is going nowhere and we had 20/22 starters back from last years team. Sorry but not buying your post completely.

By game #11 he should be seeing the field a lot more than he is. AJ Highsmith might be the worst safety in all of college football including NAIA programs.

So there no hope? We shouldn't be optimistic? That why us fans cant attend the games? That why we cant show support to our team? Thats why people laugh at Miami teams when it comes to CFL and NFL because we're so quick to bring each other down and not show support. Sun life Stadium been **** near empty while UF, UG, UT, and USC fans still come and PACK the stadium and show their support win or lose. Why we cant do that?

You wonder why its so hard to have local recruits to stay home and sign with UM? It because our FAN BASE SUCK A$$.

Winning games is a TEAM EFFORT and believe it or not the FANS plays an important role too. THE FANS is just as much apart of the TEAM as the players and coaches. So yes our team sucks, but us the FANS SUCKS TOO.
