We can’t learn anything from games like yesterday

Only thing I ever pay attention to is how our guys look off the bus and when they hit the field against these teams we shouldn’t be playing

We’ve been lied to by recruiting services and insiders for years on how big and fast our guys are

Every year I watch the S&C coach get blamed for just recruiting smaller weaker players than we think

Some young guys that stood out physically to me yesterday:

1. Patterson. It was FAMU but lord that kid is gonna be good

2. Blount. No way he’s 17. Man child

3. Josh Horton. Been hoping to see him more and he didn’t disappoint. Physically overwhelming a team a good player should

4. Artravious Jones. It was quick but that kid looked like he ate Earl Moore

5. Popo. Our LBs are just different now. Could lump Hayes in here too

Also I think it was Daylen Russell very quick on the sidelines. Not making any claims but that dude was a dump truck.

Anyway…just curious who stood out to yall in a game where we just really can’t make any observations. I know Justin Scott is an obvious one as well

Jordan Lyle looked promising in both games so far. Frederique is rarely tested but has some tools. Pruitt was flying around.

On the other end of the spectrum. I was disappointed not to see Bobby Washington, been a good little while since he's been mentioned.

I’ve been very disappointed about Washington as well

Size speed goon combo should be active on special teams anyway

For some reason, when Adarius Hayes got that interception, he looked to me like Billy Madison against the first graders. He also had a huge hit on special teams early in the game if you watch closely.
I was behind the Canes bench and got a close up view of Hayes. My god kid is huge (pause) with a big frame that he’ll grow into even bigger. Great read and instincts on that interception. Excited about our young LBs

Yeah I was hoping to hear things from people at the game that get to see it up close. As an OOS fan relying on second hand info we get lied to a lot

You hit the nail on the head with those young guys.

It most likely won’t top anyone’s list, but I was happy to see our backup kicker and even happier that he’s really good! Too many bad years of subpar kicking that it’s been so refreshing as of late not to worry when we’re lining up for 3.
