Baylin Trujillo is a QB coach based in Orlando. First saw him on the coach Hayes show where he retold the story of being a QB on a Central Florida team that got waxed by Northwestern in the state championships (too much team speed for the West). He's been building up his trainee list to the point where UM is now consistently recruiting many of his kids. Now he appears to be expanding and recruiting SFL QBs. Wouldn't be shocked if he recruited kids like Zachary ‘Zac’ Katz and Neimann Lawrence.

His feedback on UM commit Dereon Coleman

He is the most elite arm I've ever trained–point blank period.

@Memnon would likely tell you that we need to establish a relationship with TX equivalent of Baylin and get the TX QB pipeline flowing to the U.

And I would endorse that message.
I agree, Texas def puts out QBs

End of day, I think it’s all a relationship business, knowing as many sources as you can to turn over as many rocks as you can

The stories I’ve heard of how coaches come across talent from getting inside scoop on a player to evaluate

Cole McConathy was tipped off my none other than Philip Rivers coaching his sons (5 star QB in 2027 Gunner Rivers) high school team against him.

Todd Stroud was a coach at NC State when Philip Rivers played there and Rivers called up Stroud to let him know that Miami needs to come check him out

Doesn’t work like that, takes talent to actually play the game. There’s tons of “trainers” out there

You go find the best talent, you don’t pigeon hole yourself to who is coaching the players from a certain area
No ****. All I’m saying is it would be nice to have a pipeline.
