The Athletic is losing journalists because of necessary cuts. They introduced cheap offers over their usual price because people wouldn't subscribe despite them bringing tons of great content.

Not the only place btw, PFF has cut some of their staff too.

I think Olson just covered the transfer portal for them? Not that hard find a someone off the street to cover that.

Definitely think they are going to On3. Both are Andy Staples buddies, Wasserman will probably will join him on his daily show and Olson will continue his portal watching.

I liked Ari as the comedic sidekick to Andy Staples when Staples was still there and they did a podcast together. I used to listen to the show every now and then, but after Andy left I couldnt listen any more.
