4. Josh Sanguinetti
5. Evan Neal
6. Khris Bogle
7. Braylen Ingraham

This post and this list is not necessarily about positional need but rather about providing great examples of the types of local talent that we must start then continue to keep home. This is about the elite South Florida kids who you think off when you think of vintage UM teams. It's about the core group of local recruits who are the embodiment of the type of plus athletes Miami is known for. Otherwise I would have a long list of trench players who we must have to compete for national titles.

IMVHO the 7 mentioned above are crucial in our efforts to become a dominant UM squad. Speed, athleticism and explosiveness are the traits that have been the calling card of our best teams.

Stevenson is a no brainer as he is the complete package who could play CB or S at an extremely high level. We haven't had that type of talent patroling our secondary in quite some time. He is that good.

Kenny McIntosh is a legacy and is the type of deluxe athlete who could star at any number of positions from Safety to RB to LB.

Josh Sanguinetti is a classic example of an explosive South Florida athlete. 5 star talent at WR who can and just may play S or CB here.

Mark Richards is another ridiculously talented South Florida athlete who could dominate at Safety, WR or RB.

Evan Neal is a monster at 6'7" 350 who moves like a ballerina while at the same time being able to destroy anyone who lines up against him. Neal is a rare talent who IMO will be a plug and play type at RT. Neal has AA type ability.

Khris Bogle is another in a long line of potentially dominant South Florida DE prospects. Bogle has the type of speed and explosiveness to wreak havoc on opposing QBs. Must keep him home.

Braylen Ingraham is a fascinating DL prospect who has the strength and the frame to develop into a dominant 3 Tech while also having the quickness and agility to play on the outside at SSDE. Must get.

I chose the first 4 because they are all local South Florida kids who are deluxe athletes capable of dominating a number of positions with legit interest in the program. These are perfect examples of the types of kids that we cannot afford to lose. I included Neal because he is also from Florida(Bradenton) and he is a freakish talent with genuine interest at a key position that we are currently lacking in. Sign Neal and we can immediately move Donaldson back to RG. Bogle and Ingraham are both elite local talents at positions of need. Obviously we need other players at different positions but I felt strongly about these 7 in particular for the reasons stated above.

We won’t beat any of the top problems until we get our trenches on both sides up to par. Getting Neal on the offensive and Ingraham on the defensive is a MUST. We need to turn up the heat on Darnell Wright and William Putnam as well & on the other top DTs in Florida. Can’t be letting Ohio St who everybody says is leading for Tyler Davis & Oregon who’s trending for Jaquaze Sorrells keep taking top DTs.

Yea Neal should be higher, Tyrique is priority #1 on defense, Neal is priority #1 on offense
When I made that list I didn't have any particular order in mind but you make a valid point about Neal. He is extremely important to this recruiting class.

I realize all of this but that wasn't the purpose of my post. If I was going strictly by need then yes Darnell Wright, Putnam, Sorrells, Bogle, Ingraham, Summerall etc......

.Edit: You had a valid point so I added a couple of names to the OP while staying true to my original theme.

Good post.
Spot on list in terms of the names. Agree with everyone that Neal should be #1 but like I said, spot on regardless.

Those names and Tyler Davis and I honestly don’t care who we get besides that.

Great breakdown. I approve of this message

Probably going to drag it out until Feb. Hold on tight. Long way to go here.

That list should have Neal as #1 and Stevenson #2. Everyone else is interchangeable.

Me personally don't think sango or McIntosh or ingraham is a MUST get.

Neal is not from South Florida I don't believe

McIntosh is a must get because he's a legacy. He's RJ's younger brother. Neil is from Tampa; but is also a legacy. I believe that he is related to Cleveland (did not fumble in the endzone) Gary; but I could be mistaken.

He's not a MUST get it's better athletes play the same position on both sides of the ball. If he comes wouldn't be mad (especially on the defensive side ) but if he doesn't come it wouldn't be the end of the world cause it's prospects out there with equal or a better skill set than he has.

The S Florida must gets are:

Ingraham - best overall DL in the state
Stevenson - best free safety in the state
Bogle - best DE in the state
Daxon - best 1 tech in the state
Richards - best overall athlete in the state
Huff - best LB in the state
Keondra Smith - best strong safety in the state
Jaden Davis - best slot corner in the state

No excuses we need to open those bags mane but i dont know schools in the sec n bama may sell a couple of there daughters to the buyer from the taken movie to get these kids.

Imo may not be popular I know we have traction going with Chris Steele right now if we land him great but I'd much rather have tyrique Stevenson. Besides that someone said before we have to turn up the heat on Darnell Wright and land Evan Neal just to lock up our two tackle spots finally I'm just tired of the 6'4" g/t tweeners playing out I want 6'6-6'8 monsters as our bookends. For d line gotta lock up Bogle/ingraham

Love the list. I agree that all 7 are must gets. Getting all 7 will go a long way of erasing the bad taste that was left in our mouths after Tyson and others left us at the alter last cycle.
