That is the ceiling. Competing with anyone in the country athletically. This team has flaws, some fixable, some that may not be able to be cured this season, but when IV is on like that you can play with anyone. The hang time on drives, the finishing angles, the defensive intensity during crunch time. Even the IQ which Newton as a Senior does not possess is impressive. I will not name names but some here were asking if Lonnie was better than DJ during his slump, which was ridiculous. Tonight is why you play your best players and play them big minutes in the college game.
