He/we will always have that Georgia Tech game no matter what other bull**** happens. He was a machine that day.

out of all the randy guys i will love james and spence. both gave everything they had to this school. IMO they should be remembered as the greats bc they are what everyone should strive to be. stand out hard working men that give it their all. congrats mike on ur degree and hope you catch onto an NFL team bc they can surely use a player like you.

ps. that sun bowl game where him just coming out to play was one of the most inspiring stories ive seen/heard. role model for all. good luck MIKE and as someone said above you owned GT that day. that is the day mike carried the canes on his back and refused to lose.

Absolute world-class kid. I hope he is able to make it at the next level, but if he isn't, I know he'll have a bunch of other opportunities ahead of him.

Not sure what MJ is getting his degree in but he NEEDS to find a way to represent the U on ESPN!

seems like an awesome, awesome dude!

Great all around person and student athlete. Never heard or read a negative thing about this guy.

Thanks Mike!

What are Mike's pro prospects? I hope he can at least be a third down back for someone and find a niche in the League.

As a Canes recruitnik, I will always be a life long Mike James fan. For those who dont remember his recruiting journey, it went like this:

* Randy got a commitment from the #1 rated runningback in the country, Bryce Brown. The entire nation was crowning Bryce Brown.

* Randy then got a commitment from Mike James. I remember seeing an interview with him after commitment asking him about Bryce Brown. Mike James said that he was looking forward to competing with Bryce for playing time.
* Then when Lamar Miller got qualified, he commited to UM. Shortly after Bryce Brown started taking visits, running his mouth online, looking around, etc. eventually decommiting from UM.
* When Lamar Miller commited, Mike James said, "I look forward to competing with Lamar for playing time."
* Mike James stuck to his commitment, enrolled, worked his *** off both on and off the field and has found his place in this program without regard to Lamar Miller, Bryce Brown, Duke Johnson, Storm Johnson, et al.

If we could get guys with the heart of Mike James every year, we'd be set. Love this kid & wish him the best.

Let's Go Mike Canes!

There hasn't been a better ambassador for this program in the 30 years I've been watching Canes football.

I could not agree more with the last two post. He is the ONLY reason I dont want the bowl ban at this point. (had we beat UVA I would have 2 reasons)
