**no negative stuff in this thread. Let's keep it positive. We all know the issues.

Man winning 9 games maybe 10 it's amazing considering the cloud and all the depth issues going into the season. We didn't know Coley would be this good, think a non starter at UVA in Renfrow could help, and start. We didn't think we would beat Florida when thy were at full strength. We didn't know how much Crawford would help us out. We did know our defense would be weak, very weak, and to be honest they exceeded my expectations for most of the year. I'm happy the coaches and players fought their tails off so we could have a pretty successful season. Thank you and let's try and move on and recruit well and take another step forward.

Agreed. Starting 7-0 was like a smokescreen and we all thought we could possibly run the table but injuries and lack of depth showed. I'm happy with the progress for this season and look forward to finally bowling!!!

I agree although the Duke game hurt it was just hard to accept that Duke is actually good this year. I'm proud of them boys and the coaching staff for getting us through tgis whole NCAA mess

There were the Ups and downs but overall a lot of good things happened this season. Beating UF was as much fun as I've had as Canes fan in a decade. We have the NCAA cloud behind us and the training wheels are off in our recruiting.

Look forward to seeing what adjustments are made. I feel much much closer than I felt in past years. This years team was pretty much exactly what I expected.

And on top of that, they get an extra month of bowl practices for the 1st time in quite some time. Bra-*******-vo

I truly think we our bowl against whoever we play, there seems to be a fire lit underneath some of these seniors recently. Take Morris, Hurns, Clements, and even Gaines last Friday. The passion they played with against Florida seems to be resurfacing again. The team has hit their "groove" so to speak right now. The 41-31 final vs. Pitt is very misleading considering we were up 31-10 at the half. Same with UVA the week earlier. This is a team that has lost to the #1 overall team, as of this week, a 10-2 team and an 8-4. I'm not saying we should've lost but that's who the loss was to. So 10-3 whether we won the Coastal or not should be an accomplishment, for those who think it isn't are very narrow minded and short sighted.

NCAA, no excuses in 2014. Recruiting is on without a hand tied behind your back. Fix what needs to be fixed, without emotional best man ties involved.

Finally a spring without the NCAA, negative recruiting and a HUGE star studded LOCAL recruiting class coming in. We are headed in the right direction. We have stability in coaching, NFL talent returning to our roster and the support of the community. I'm proud to be a MIAMI HURRICANE! We have our future QB :stormwarning: The talent is finally starting to stay home……
