It really isn't just on Mario. We don't have enough defensive talent, and our defensive coordinator sucks.

After the first quarter he was out schemed immensely.

Now let's see if Mario has a cajones to actually fire the dude.

When your D is so **** bad you miss Corey Flagg, I'd say it's time to clean house on that side of the ball.

I just said in another post that the lack of emotion on D across the side of that ball, speakers volumes.

The old teams of Miami were extremely fired up on defense, all game. They wanted to take you out every opportunity they could being on the field as a defense.

We only saw that once this year and It was against the Gators. They grinded all game.
 
He should have had the stones to fire/demote Guidry during the bye. Diaz did it with Baker during the season. Does he have bigger balls than Mario? What a disastrous end to the season. And if had been blown out, you could say it was all a mirage. It wasn’t a mirage, the defense was simply putrid and even mediocre D means we run the table this season.

So now no ACC championship game
No playoffs
Ward may not get Heisman invite
Recruiting class in the teens and the position with most need, DB, is not looking good.
