Teddy Bridgewater real reason

Golden was a bad fit culturally for Miami right from the jump.

Was Teddy the reason why local kids started leaving town or was it the guy wearing a Joe Paterno Tie trying to make Miami into Penn State South?

Yea or not hire some New Jersey bros that wouldn't connect with guys lol.

Going from Randy personally knowing your mom, aunt n uncles to whatever we had at the time
Agreed! I don’t think Al gets enough credit for how he destroyed UM’s relationship with S.Florida. Dude was un relatable and tried to turn us into Penn State south.

Had his defense in Miami playing elite football, thank the heavens Brees failed his physical.
The defense had been one of the best since Jimmy. They just couldn’t find a quarterback after Marino. Saban had one job. He took the guy who’s injury ended his career over the guy who went in to win the superbowl, break records and go to the hall of fame.

Saban said recently he couldn't sign Brees with him failing the physical. He couldn't explain to the owner that they signed a franchise QB for that money with him failing the physical.

Unless you're being sarcastic.....

Dwayne Bowe then Patrick Johnson errr Peterson were first South Florida high profile guys that spurned Miami for SEC schools, and sorta opened the floodgates. Max Jean Gillis was another in that mix.

Patriotsfan here, yes, I'm ******* glad Brees failed his physical to go to New Orleans.

And tbh, with what the city of New Orleans went through and what Brees went through, everything turned out just fine.
Now that makes sense. Could you imagine if Bledsoe never gets hurt. I wonder if Brady would have stayed.

Sean Payton was on barstool the other day and said the fins did offer Brees a contract, the saints just outbid them
