This will be the first time in a very long time that Miami will take the field with several upperclassmen with NFL talent. It makes a huge difference when the leader is actually making plays on the field in big games. This motivates the young guys to play better and also takes the pressure off of them.

The older guys understand the pressure because they have been there, so when the game is on the line the younger guys know they can look to them to make a play. We haven't seen that at a high level in years past.

Offensive Leaders
RB Duke Johnson JR, 2013 ALL ACC 1st Team, 13 career starts
TE Clive Walford RSR, 25 career starts
WR Phillip Dorsett SR, 2012 ALL ACC 3rd Team, 17 career starts
OT Ereck Flowers JR, projected 1st rounder in 2015 NFL Draft, 17 career starts
OG Jon Feliciano RSR, 2013 ALL ACC, Honorable Mention, 31 career starts
OC Shane McDermott RSR, 2013 ALL ACC 3rd team, 23 career starts

Defensive Leaders
DE Anthony Chickillo SR, 2012 ALL ACC Honorable Mention, 34 career starts
DT Olsen Pierre SR, 27 career starts
LB Denzel Perryman SR, 2013 ALL ACC 1st team, 2013 ALL American Honorable Mention, 24 career starts
CB Tracy Howard JR, 2013 ALL ACC Honorable Mention, 13 career starts
S Dallas Crawford RJR, pure football player that guys really look up to
S Deon Bush JR, 2013 ALL ACC Honorable Mention, 9 career starts

These 12 guys are all mature enough and talented enough to lead this team this season. I for one believe if we beat Louisville it will be because of these guys doing the little things that leaders do. Also a win tomorrow will push this team to a 10 win season. These aren't freshmen and sophomores who are not mentally mature enough to handle the grind. These are 20-23 year old grown men, who are ready to bring The U back.

As I've been saying. We will be the most talented team on the field tomorrow night. We should win by 10.

We also have a bunch of underclassmen that have put in work to work with these guys to get it done... you also excluded Malcolm, and Herb.

I've been saying the same thing. For the first time since he's been here, Golden has a bunch of his guys as upperclassmen starters. It's a huge difference relying on guys who are 21-22 years old instead of guys who are 19. The maturity and plain physical difference between a 19 year old and a 21 year old can be huge. We'll find out tomorrow night just how huge.

Making progress here but the real problem is that the list isn't nearly long enough.

That list is plenty long enough comparable to most of our competition this year. Let's do this.

We were the most talented team on the field in 2 out of the 4 games we lost last year.

Theres no reason in the world we shouldnt beat them from a talent standing point we have to be able to dominate from start to finish and i believe that we will.

Next season will be long enough. We will have those sophmores who been in the battles this season, will become vets and step into more leadership roles. This is why not missing recruiting classes is so important. We had a freaking gap that we have had to overcome, I think we are close now.

Okie State had FSU on the ropes with little to no senior or experienced leadership on the field. Coach em up staff.

We have the talent, we have the CEO, we have the leaders, as always the question is Can Golden Coach on Game day?
