We are bringing it in by the boatload, on the ol, dl, skill positions, everywhere. But it won't amount to
Much more than a 9 win team regardless of our schedule.

Everyone wanted to see what this staff could do with a month to prepare and we came out uninterested and with abysmal game plans. I was willing to give coley a pass jut he was atrocious last night and in impressive most of the year.

At one point I saw Aqm lined up on a wr, that's all I need to say about the defense.

I have been a staunch supporter of golden but it is crystal clear he needs big time coordinators to right this ship and of he can't realize that he isn't the right person to be CEO at um. It won't matter how much talent we have we will be mediocre at best with an occasional 10 won season.

Glad you are finally seeing the light and have decided that this mediocrity is not acceptable. Only way we can move forward as a program and fan base.

I had faith in Al as a CEO, if he can't see whole sale changes need to be made then he is not looking at the big picture and will be gone before too long. With his organizational skills, you give him 2 strong coordinators and we are in business, this mess isn't working.

The real question to me is how much input is Al giving on the gameplan? Coordinators won't matter if this is his gameplan.

How hard is it to play a simple 4-3 with aggressive blitzes play fast and exciting?!?! That what sflorida studs have in their DNA!!!

No we want to play a 15 yd please don't hurt us D

We just need to be more aggressive and play more confident in our talented players that we do have on defense next year especially now that our key guys getting more experience. We don't need to be a 4-3 or 3-4 just be a hybrid of both. I live in Buffalo and watch the bills every week and we aren't one type of defense just an aggressive and multiple defense and play our talent and we lead the nfl in sacks and ints. That's how our canes defense should play more like just be more aggressive and confident and use our talent and athleticism next year like McCord, Thomas, Muhammad, Valentine, Kirby, grace, fig, Bush, burns, Carter, . We should see a good amount of improvement alone if we see these guys on the field more and playing aggressive

We blitzed a **** ton last night, the scheme and play calls are the problem.

It seamed every time we sent the house, Louisville had a screen called and killed us, other then the safety.

And how Dorito didn't figure out they were going to screen us on 3rd down when there is obvious pressure coming is beyond me. Guy is simply incompetent.

Team full of recruiters vs team full of coaches.
You need both in order to be a successful program.
Not sure if Miami truly has an X and O type of guy on the staff at this time. Fisch with his faults with trying to be too cute at times last year was an X and O guy.

Coley = Recruiter, not impressed with his X and O acumen
Dorito = Meh, not sure what pool he falls into
Barrow = Recruiter
Carrol = Recruiter
Brown = Recruiter

Golden has enough personality to sell the program to recruits, however he has gots to get some X and O guys in here that can adjust to and solve riddles that opposing teams throw out. Funny how UL had a counter to pretty much everything Miami tried to do on both sides of the ball. Miami still hasn't figured out how to use the middle of the field, or how to stop James Burgess from blowing up Dallas Crawford.

Yes were limited in talent in some spots... But mostly talent isnt the issue, it's all coaching philosophy and proper technique that this team is lacking. Also too many players seeing significant time at the wrong position and for the wrong reasons... And that does indeed fall on the coaches.

Example instead of letting our defensive rip through the opponents OL, they're coached to read and react at the line of scrimmage. Furthermore, I've seen bad angles on defense and horrible footwork on the OL! Henderson can't keep his feet for Sheit, but is expected to protect off the edge? Green and Chick should have only seen spot duty all year! Won't even mention the predictability of our offense, etc. ..

Completely agree. Give me coordinators that know X's and O's and position coaches who can recruit.

Jim leavitt as DC would be huge because he's got hc experience and he built a program before. I know it won't happen but a guy can dream.
