Tailgating for the Louisville game

Anyone have any info on Canes tailgate areas for the Louisville game.
Thanks
If you’re looking to tailgate try the Boy Scout lots on the southwest corner of 3rd and Central. The lot is located diagonally across from Louisville’s Jim Patterson Stadium. Remember you have to enter those lots from the 4th side of the lot. It’s $20 to park there. Two blocks west of the stadium. It will be a little further to your seats because they will be located on the east side of the stadium.

The lot is across 4th street from Churchill Downs and owned by them. They let the Boy Scouts park cars there as a fund raiser. The track isn’t running that week in but you can visit the Churchill Downs Museum. They have a cafe. I nice place to have lunch if you have the time that week.

I can’t say this enough. Get there early because it fills up fast. For example if it’s a night game at 7:30 or 8, the lots will open at 2pm.

If can’t get a spot there continue east on Central across the Denny Crum over pass at the stadium, to the red light at Floyd Street and Central. Go through the light and immediately on your right behind the hotel is the Whip Mix lot. It’s a huge lot, lots a room for RV’s.

Let me know if that helps. I will check in again to see if anyone else needs any help.

I have family in Louisville and I’m up there very often. I’ll ask them for some information and post it here.

Illl tell you this though Louisville as a city and fanbase is very hospitable to visiting teams. They’ll crack beers open with you, share food and you’ll have a great time.

I’ll post some restaurants and bars I frequent as well when I’m there as the game gets closer

The Bourbon Trail and the Jack O Lantern Spectacular at Iroquois Park are always a good time in the fall.

Who is Jim Patterson? Thought it was Papa John’s.

Jim Patterson is the name of the baseball stadium. He’s a local guy who walked on their baseball team and became a businessman donated a lot of $$ to get their baseball stadium constructed.

My father in law played baseball for UL in the early 70s and is still involved with their athletic dept.

That might be the toughest game on schedule IMO. Brohm can scheme some **** up. He beat Ohio St with one player when he was at Purdue
No doubt… not sleeping on Brohm one bit but only jumping 3% and still a dog to Louisville seems a bit off though

One of only games where it seemed like OC had Guidry in a blender.. Should be a good matchup again..

Heading down with some buddies from Chicago. Would love to find a tailgate that will have critical mass of Canes. Anyone make any headway here?
