Agree on all fronts. Previously searles was the only coach i wasnt sold on. Im slightly more sold on him. Lil richt relates very well to kids & they love him. But his evals & communication skills im not too confident in right now... then again yall can always just go with im just lying on richt & i havent heard those exact words come out his mouth... your choice. By now you should know how i am. You might not agree with my opinions but i tell y'all about stuff even you all ha e said should probably be staying in house. Take it how u want.

He displays several advanced QB skills for a HS junior... looked off the secondary and was throwing the pump fake on a few of those throws, readjusts and gets his feet underneath him to make accurate throws on the run, hits his receivers in stride on the deep passes, and even went back shoulder on a couple of fades in the redzone.

Level of competition looks soft in the highlights, but with those skills I would love to see him sporting a U on the side of his helmet in 2019.

The top 2 for Mike jr, is Oregon and Ohio State. But now that Taggart is gone, and his father eyeing the head job at Oregon State; this staff should be in a good spot. If they truly want him; and mike has Miami in his top 3 like I’ve heard some say on here(which I have yet to confirm!!)
Then we have a chance albeit a small one, but not if their approach is **** eyed...

Sometimes, you resist drawing attention to something you like by making it clear to others that you like it. The hope can be that they will either not notice that thing, or will notice it too late to be able to get it.

I am not in the room obviously, but it would not surprise me one bit to find that this is in play here as well. Frankly the idea that we are waiting for other offers before pulling the trigger is outrageous to me.

I'm not trying to be a ****, i could be completely remembering this wrong. But didn't he come to paradise camp and fail to impress against real competition. I think the kid is talented but the competition looks really bad. This is not the first time you've come on this board throwing vague shade at the staff. I love Rick Jr. as a recruiter, but if that's his or his dad's rap they need to cut that **** out.

I'm still not sold on Searels at all. Our OL looks like mashed potatoes, and Searels has never had any sustained success anywhere he's been. And he's bounced around a lot.
