Swartz to the Portal

McCray & Bethea are really the only ones I'd want to come back.

They showed enough flashes to where there's at the very least some salvageable ability that they can be depth pieces on the 2nd unit.

I'm sorry, I just don't see it with Divine.

Bethea’s body language is often so poor. Not sure I want that attitude in the locker room.

Hard to keep a positive attitude when everything else around you is burning.

But either way, no one on the team really needs to come back tbh.

Just if we were to keep anyone, the 2 I would keep would be McCray & Bethea.

But, they all can leave quite frankly. It won't make a bit of difference to the future projection of this team.

I expect Bethea and Divine to follow.

Maybe Staton-McCray and Djobet stay.
Unless Divine miraculously develops a consistent 3 pt shot, I don't see others beating down the door for him.

Guards who can't shoot are a dime a dozen, and most of them have a couple other attributes that Divine hasn't consistently displayed (e.g., lock down defender, head-turning assist man, etc).

Hard to judge somebody's body language when you are in the middle of a dumpster fire. I see what you are saying, but I wouldn't let that be the sole reason to not keep someone around who has potential

If Swartz comes back, I'm not going to be mad. It was a dysfunctional situation, but he showed enough to where I can feel comfortable that with the right environment, he can develop. That said, he has to be prepared to not be a big part of the lineup next year. Miami needs to show signs of life, he needs to develop in the weight room and in practice, not during conference play...

Bethea's body language stunk the ENTIRE season, even before the season went off the rails. I think that a lot of the chatter about him having maturity issues was proven to be accurate. He's talented, but I could do without a headcase on the roster.
