Super Regional Roll Call Who's in?

Thanks to the famous Miami Noon Home game, I will be there Saturday, but not Friday. Bought the series pass, (Figure we are gonna play Sunday, but will bemore than happy if we don't for a good reason).

****! Noon! Well, ****, good warmup for our 6 Noon home games in football next year, eh? :)

Getting in early, 7:30-8:00 am

Anyone going?

Or will I be playing Dominoes and listing to ICP with Canes Fam? :)

I'll be there but will probably get there right around noon
 
Tryin to come up with a chants for a couple players...and some heckles for the VCU players.

Could use "Hey Jude" for Abreu...similar to what ****nal fans sing for Giroud, in the BPL.

Reapsome, Berezo, Haymaker, Gransback, Rabat, Dressler & Howie...have some heckle potential.

Nice to get early lead vs a team that doesnt give up much runs. Our 3 runs in the 2nd matches the most VCU has given up in a GAME in months.
 
Canes win 3-2! VCU is much tougher than their seed suggests. They are full of competitive kids who battle.

Big hit by Heyward, driving in two with two outs. Yeah, they had an error, but we don't score at all without that hit.

Cooper Hanmond didn't have it today, but Mediavilla and Garcia were fantastic.

Suarez with only 88 pitches, so it's possible he could give us a couple of innings Sunday if we needed him (or even play).

Biggest play of game was the runner interference call. I think it was a bad call, but I'll take the benefit!

It was discussed during the rain delay. It was technically the correct call. Any contact whatsoever before fielder plays the ball equals interference despite the fact that we initiated contact.

And i dont think Hammond pitched bad. a few ground balls got thru and umps were pinching him on strikeout calls after the controversial intereference call.

The runner was also technically outside of the base path from 1st to 2nd because he was running with the intention of rounding 2nd base, so he took a wider angle to second base and interfered with our 2nd baseman in the process.

It was the correct call.

I'll be there tomorrow! Hoping we can finish it up and be the first to punch our tickets to the land of college baseball's championship.
