For negativity, kindly head to the MOPES thread.
On the bright side, we're in good shape with tiebreakers. We win over Clemson because they lost against a common opponent (Louisville). Pitt currently has a slight edge in opponent winning percentage, but the close of their schedule is difficult (UVA, Clemson, @louisville, @Boston College). It his highly unlikely they come out of that unscathed.
Our remaining opponents don't really have salty defenses, so offense should be able to get back on track.
The second bye comes at a good time. Hopefully we can get some guys healthy (Alston, Aguirre, Damari Brown, Porter). We also need the time to self-scout and get a lot of stuff corrected.
And if we win out, we're still likely to get a first-round bye.
Boise St is probably not going to get a bye over the P4 winners because their schedule is beyond abysmal.
Obviously, our defense is in tatters right now, but let's enjoy a having generational talent at QB for as long as we can before it's back to reality next season.
