Him and Godbois even after spending a year at Prep felt behind Darling and KC,both could be starting the next 2 to 3 years here.

Nice kid and great story, but with KC, Darling and OT recruits don't see him ever seeing the field.

He hasn't played much football in his life.

Maybe he just follows an old school progression and becomes a starter as a redshirt junior.

Guy certainly has the physical ability to be dominant, just needs to transition from a natural athlete into a natural football player.

agree that it may take being in the system for thrwe years, before it becomes natural to him. He's already taken a redshirt though... thinking he may be used for abou 5-10 plays a game, as well as special teams.

Pretty funny in that ice bucket video everybody is dumping ice on each other, big Sunny is dumping it on himself and having a good time! He still has time to be a contributor IMO.

Was a project from jump street, let's give this savage some time to mature on the field before saying he'll never play here.

Already being surpassed by highly-touted true freshmen.

Kehoe must've pulled a muscle on yet another patented reach.

Kid is a redshirt freshman that we knew was going to need some work, let's hold judgement off for a little bit, ****.

From the videos I watched... he seems to have problems with speed rushers... guys like McCord and AQM terrorizes him... he should move inside!

Exactly. He's a RS freshman. He's got a few more years to develop.

He needs more time like King,Ricardo Williams,Perry or Hoilett needed more time. They could be here for 10 years and still could not get on the field, just hope they get their degrees and move along.

Like someone else already said here, that kid was always a major project. Everyone loved the dude because he's massive and strong as f*ck, but he had very little actual FB playing experience. I think its clear that he's not going to be a factor at all anytime soon. Maybe a guy that can work into the rotation in his last year, like a Bunche was for us last year.

The guy I am more disappointed in is Gadbois. I never expected he would be an All American or anything, but I figured he would at least be in the mix, dude has apparently been a total non factor.

If we are rolling with 2 Frosh on the OL this season, our QB is going to have a rough time. Another reason why I dont see Kaaya getting thrown into the fire too soon. If we had a huge experienced OL, maybe. But if we are going to trot out a couple of true Frosh to be getting serious reps at OL, you cant put a true Frosh in there behind them too. Any DC worth dog **** is going to just bring the house and destroy that kid.

Godbois has been a huge let down.I remember reading here he was hoping for a good season and possibly entering the draft since he had spent a year at prep and then redshirted here. Then gets beat by a true freshman, has to be more than just talent with him.

Haven't seen enough of him to provide a substantive comment. For those who say he won't, any explanation or rationale?

Darling is playing Tackle, but my hope was that he'd eventually slide inside and be a monster there. We have issues at G. As weird as it is to say, Denver Kirkland was a legitimate miss. When Feliciano graduates, we don't have anyone on the interior who's proven to be an impact guy. And, I'm an Isidora guy, but mainly because he has great feet and balance, as he hasn't shown us anything in game action yet.

It is weird to say a highly rated recruit, at a position of need, in our backyard, at a pipeline school, coached by a former cane staffer with kids who went through the U is a miss? No way.
