Is it worth paying the extra funds to park in the purple lot? Especially for the Gator game.

depends do you plan on hooking up with other Purple fans to tailagte or just walk around?? If I am just parking and walking go cheap...
if I had the money and want to Tailgate..purple is the way to go...
 
Pay for the green lot, you can park where you want and it opens an hour early. Orange lot is awful, you have to park where they tell you. The one thing I hate about the green lot is the clown that works there, that wants everything in between the lines, so you cannot set things up the way you want even if there are no more spots in front of you or if there is no one else coming for a few hours... I know the dude is just doing his job, but he likes to start with people while doing so.
 
Actually coming from Tallahassee. So I wont be getting in on a tailgate so to speak.

Gonna be hangin' with Laz and the family in Blue.....can't get here soon enough!
 
Where can you go to see what times the lots opens up before the game? Does the purple allow you to start an hour earlier?

I would guess just to get closer to the stadium and possibly a set parking spot....but not sure.
 
Oh well....I just ponied up the funds for the purple lot before I read the parking info. I'm not sure when I will be able to get there...so I want to make sure I will/can park when I do.

$50 for the purple lot is pretty crazy, why are they double the cost???

Because purple is so close, that while playing catch with your crew, an overthrown ball could very well hit the Dan Marino statue.

It's that close.

I'm parking in blue but I plan on walking the outskirts of the stadium to take some pictures of the tailgating, crowd, etc.

Not sure what the actual tailgating scene is in the purple lot.

I'm thinking of the blue lot then. Never been to purple.

Blue is what they give me with my media credentials.
