As some of you know, I’m lucky enough to be the host of Storm Sessions, an in-depth interview series with the University of Miami. This week’s interview is with Miami’s star right guard, Anez Cooper. If you’re looking for last week’s interview with Cam Ward, you can find it here.

Amazing interviews, we need them 2 times a week. Love getting to hear the players and their stories

Anez is one of my favorite Canes.

He has a wise head, and his purpose in improving his game is for his brother team members.

The thing that stuck me is that he is a competitor in everything he does.........in video games, basketball, school work, practice, game prep just walking the field and psyching up the competition, along with making the team work with his bros, ............
As he improves his game he knows that The Coaches are giving him everything all along the way................. and he wants to give back, it is not all about football, it's about people............that is incredible.

Anez is a SoFla guy now and he loves the vibe of where he is. The U has made him enjoy life, friends, and opened up the world to him, and made him happy....great job in getting that in the storm session.

An introvert became an extrovert because he wanted to reach out to others..........a good guy.

Great interview D$ and the respect this player shows for his family, school, Coaches, and team is something that all young athletes could emulate......

When things are not going good (as in the past), it’s so easy to criticize and insult the players and their intelligence. These interviews definitely expose us to the human being behind the jersey numbers. Thank you D$!

I know he’s been a little off at times this year, but I love Coop . He’s a guy I have confidence is going to play up to his potential down the stretch of the regular season and beyond.
