Just to reiterate, UM landed...

The top RB in the state
The top TE in the nation
The top TE in the state
The top WR in the state
The top DT in the state
The top Safety in the state (imo)
The top OL in S. Florida
The top LB in S. Florida

All this on the heels of a 10 win season that we somehow managed w a third stringer at best QB, and wo our two top offensive players.


Whyre we mad again???

Awful DL depth and tons of question marks at DT. LB will be a major issue if we lose Quartermann and Pink next year. I think we are frustrated because we as fans can see these glaring holes developing, and our coaching staff continually whiffs on the elite talent that could fill these holes. But hey, at least we have 15 WRs.

We can mask a lot of deficiencies by having a legit QB and those two monsters coming in at RB.

Bingo. People can be very excited about who we got and extremely disappointed in whiffing at positions of need at the same time.

Kudos to Richt & Co. for snagging all of those guys mentioned in the OP...but it's a real bad look to miss on DL's/CB's that we needed badly.

Its all good, man. At the end of the day its about perspective. If dudes want to be in their feelings, I aint even mad at them. I love my squad too and want the best players just like anyone else.

They wanna venr about the losses. Cool. I wanna celebrate and recognize the gains/progress.
 
I'm happy with the class, but it's obvious that we played ourselves at crucial moments. Virtual locks like ASjr that get passed up for turncoats like chode for seemingly arbitrary reasons. I don't blame them too much because you can't just concede talents like jobe without a fight, but that doesn't mean you have to ignore everyone else; bird in the hand etc.

It just looks like that arbitrary trend will continue with the QB next cycle that looks like a straight stud.

Remember we didn’t recruit that many DL because the staff wasn’t expecting Norton and McIntosh to declare early, once that happened they where playing catch up with many of the top DT’s.
 
Can we stop with these *** names for the classes? "swag 16" "storm 18" "stud 19" **** is so so so lame.
 
Have u even looked at our depth chart? If/when Jackson leaves early, who the fvck will start opposite Garvin in 2019 against ufag? We're down to Martin, Rousseau, an unknown 2019 true freshman or a grad transfer.
