Its completely pathetic. I thought the whole reason for this board was to discuss Cane football in an intelligent manner, not whining about coaches, players, schemes, and kitchen sink.

I agree, but you have to admit the defensive scheme has left a whole lot to be desired which has caused some obvious unrest on the board.

I feel the same about sometimes it seems overboard. But we cannot simply turn a blind eye and not discuss it at all. The defense more particually the Dline have been playing like shizz

I agree with the OP mostly but I also think it should be discussed. Poster's just need to have some common sense on their post, which has been lacking.
 
People allowed the rumors of GreenTree All Americans to lose realistic expectations of this team

We are all disappointed, and I am not saying we shouldnt have a DISCUSSION, but talk about the game, not fire the coaches, move players, etc.

So we can't discuss the coaches ****** coaching or the players' ****** play?

What shall we discuss after that wonderful game this week then my man? This is a board for people to discuss their pleasures and displeasures with the team and their success AND struggles. Some posters may not convey their feeling well in script, but what do you expect after yesterday? Ease up.

This and to play devil's advocate maybe Golden and Donofrio see this and are playing this ridiculously passive scheme because they feel it gives us the best shot to win and not because it is the way they prefer to play.
 
Indeed it does because those are shocking statistics. What the OP is clearly pushing for though is for Canes to cut the puerile BS and talk intelligently. Golden is NOT going to be fired any time soon, and I don't see him getting rid of his best friend, Coach D. I do think that players can be moved, but making position changes during the season isn't as desirable as doing so during the off season when guys would have time to study and adjust. I'm curious to read what more knowledgable posters have to say about the defense we are running.
