I changed the title because it was “something’s happening” but nothing’s happening as op was guessing based on some tweets.

It was. DE that went to kentucky. He tried to commit but it wasn’t committable per cribby or dmoney ( don’t remember which confirmed it)
 
Do y'all realize all you do with dumb **** like this is **** the few of us who could bring you something off enough where we just don't wanna bother with this nonsense??? It's crazy how entitled y'all are when most people on this site I'd imagine weren't even alive or barely were the last time we were even relevant... Slow down with this dumb **** or just go follow some bandwagon program y'all will be happy with.
 
The staff has been here for a mater of months and we had an amazing first haul of recruits that included our top targets at C, OT, QB, LB, TE and top 2 slot WRs. Getting impatient over us stacking more talent right now is silly. The next big push of commits will come with us winning games.

This fan base did the same ******* garbage when they thought Mario was striking out on OCs & DCs, and look how that turned out. Chill the **** out and let the man work. Trust that his expectations and plans around it are more ambitious than anything we deserve.

OC/DC situation was bleak af, and Mario pulled it all together. In terms of recruiting… per recruit this is the best class on paper since 04 or 05. Mario has done an exemplary job, even if it was expected.

Just curious as to how many recruits we think will commit in preseason August sessions. I thought that this is a dead period, so we aren’t the ones allowed to initiate contact. And if you’re a recruit considering coming here and there isn’t pressure to commit (i.e. there isn’t someone else about to commit to take your spot) are you pulling the trigger or waiting to see what the product looks like on the field (with consideration that this is year 1)?

We will have a full class with Mario at the helm, but this is a process and things will likely be quiet for a little while. I check this thread everyday for nuggets but I don’t think that we will see a kid commit until the season starts.

Not to mention that in the three weeks Cristobal made the 2nd wave comment, Malik Bryant (beat AL and FL), Tommy Kinsler (beat FL), and Connor Lew (beat Clemson, GA, Auburn) all publicly committed. Not a bad haul...

This has been proven wrong so many times and even with this staff already. I’m not panicking or making a fuss whatsoever about the second wave, but silent commits don’t me jack s*** generally
