he is far from bad at player development if you look at the temple guys who were no stars and he turned them into nfl players. sfl recruiting isnt too bad considering who he got the last 3 years.

I just went through all of our games the past three years. It's pretty obvious how biased your stats are. You clearly have an agenda that he sucks which is affecting your judgment. Golden might not be a great coach (we don't know yet), but give him credit where it's due.

Here are some stats to show the bright side:

He is 3-11 against teams with 8+ wins. Bethune Cookman accounts for 2 of those wins. Not sure where you got that extra loss from.

He is 10-11 against teams with 7+ wins.

He is 13-11 against teams with 6+ wins.

He is 7-0 against teams with exactly 7 wins and 3 of them came this year (3 in 2012 and 1 in 2011)

He is 3-0 against teams with exactly 6 wins.

Not including his first year at Temple (1-11) he is 48-38 overall.


Golden needs to get rid of Coach D, but he's not as bad as you act. The players from his real first recruiting class here (2012) are going to be juniors next year. I'm waiting until after next season to judge him.

I can see why you chose to tell everyone on the board what his record against teams with 8+ wins is rather than 7+.

I wouldn't say he's bad at evaluating talent either. He took EJ when he didn't have many offers. Granted he got kicked off the team, the dude balled out here.
