Steve Walsh out at IMG

Don't see how it will have an effect. Only players we've gotten out of there are St. Louis and Fines, and that was before Walsh arrived.

Plus he we didn't even get Rudolph when he was at Cardinal Newman.

Miami hasn't got a whole lot of guys from IMG and off the top of my head never any of the blue chippers (admittedly this was prior to Richt) so even if they replace Walsh with someone who is very anti-Miami and he steers all those kids elsewhere, going from little to none won't have a drastic impact.

IMG's sales pitch is getting their players into big time D1 programs, and to the NFL. So if Richt continues to do what he's doing and rebuilds Miami, UM would be a program that IMG would actively try and direct players towards.

IMG needs to change to a prostyle O if they are really preparing them for NFL. Watched a game and wasn't impressed at all with them for their talent level.

Didn't Patchan commit before he was at IMG.

Yeah and so did Fines.....None of the Florida schools are doing well recruiting IMG.

Most of the kids are not even from FL so it's not necessarily a bad thing. Getting even 1 a year is a victory imo.

Walsh was one of my favorite players ever at UM. But he's been a **** as a HS coach when it comes to steering kids to the old alma mater. Fck him.

My nephew starts ato reciever for IMG. Absolutely hates it there. Place is a ****show! Coaches fighting each other in practice, getting replaced weekly. Just got rid of the o.c. & wr coach in the last 3 weeks. There is no set offense because the coaches get kickbacks from different colleges & they feature their favorites. Miami is very high in the minds of several 5 star kids there for 18 & 19. We just gotta stick at em.cause this'll only get worse at img.

Wasn't losing Rudolph more on Golden and staff? He was committed to us.

Supposedly the staff said he could be the next Antrel Rolle, and Rudolph was offended because he was dead-set on being a WR. That said, I don't think the staff ever told him he COULDN'T play WR.

Bottom line is we didn't get him (or anyone else because of Walsh).

Dad was a big UM fan too. I think this was 60% the staff F'ing up and 40% Rudolph looking for the perfect out so that he could go to FSU. I know this is dead horse talk but Golden kind of made this right after he messed up but Rudolph saw this **** show going on here and knew he didnt want to be apart of it.

Karma is a bytch though because things dont look too sunny for FSU right about now either esp once Cook leaves for the NFL.

Worse than Dumpth?

Tough to tell who is worse.Makes you think both this guys are 9-5 types, punch the clock and disconect the phone until they come back the next day.Never form any type of bond with the kids.Just prior to this season we saw Kool,Banda and acouple other coaches take their position players to their home to have dinner with them and maybe I just missed it but don't remember seein Rumph do that.

Rumph invited all the guys to his place, but no one showed up.
